EEK look at all the Big Brown Spiders!!! These tasty invertebrates were fun to make!
WHOOOOOOOOO would have thought making owls could be so delicious and fun. To wrap up our classification of organisms on October 31 we made some yummy treats and then classified the vertebrates and birds.
We've moved onto our new unit our study, Animal, our first standard deals with Animals! Be sure you are spending time each night reviewing your notes!
Mrs. Thompson returned on September 18 and Mr. Kevin Hood, our assistant principal came to learn the app as well!!! Look on our blog pages in the Crew Parlay to see the finished products of our Severe Weather Touchcasts!
On September 8 Miss Thompson came to teach our class how to use the app Touchcast to improve our knowledge about clouds and technology!

We conducted an experiment to see the water cycle in action! We placed a cup of water in a bag and watched to see if we observed any evaporation or condensation. We placed our bags in a shady spot, a spot that was partially shady/partially in direct sunlight, and the final bags in complete shade.
Below are our model drawings of the four types of precipitation and how they come from clouds!
