We had some visitors from the North Pole December 15-19. Students in class got to host Comet, Vixen, Blitzen, Dasher and Dancer for the night! They wrote about their experience and shared with us the next day. In the Picture of Dakota you can also catch a glimpse of our other North Pole visitor, Edward the Elf!
We were honored to host author, Annette Laing, creator of the Snipesville Chronicles. Her NON-boring history presentation allowed us to decide whether or not we could be Colonial Kids in America. As you can see it was a high energy, fun filled, fact extravaganza and we were a lucky group of historian pirates to learn from this college professor! We loved laughing while getting grossed out and learning while being inspired! We also LOVE reading her book, Look Ahead, Look Back in class!
