God Save King George!
More from our swimming lessons! Could it be... is it really him....? It's EDWARD!!!! Our Elf on the Shelf!!!!!! Look who else came from the North Pole to visit us..... It's Blitzen, Vixen and Dasher! Dear Parents,
Recently three visitors came to visit for an extended stay in our class. All the way from the North Pole we are hosting Blitzen, Vixen and Dasher! During the day I will pull the names of three students from a hat. These lucky students will care for the reindeer during the day and host them at night. While staying overnight with your child, Blitzen, Vixen or Dasher will go through your child’s typical routine. Your child will document his or her escapades with Blitzen, Vixen or Dasher in a special journal (that is also sent with the reindeer) to be read aloud the next day in class. Do not worry Blizten, Vixen and Dasher are clean and well fed already, so meals and baths are NOT required. These 3 simply enjoy spending time with their assigned student at meal or snack time. A stocking is provided for your visiting reindeer to sleep in at night. J To be more specific about what the journal entry should contain, if your child has basketball practice, the reindeer should go with him or her; if they have piano lessons, the reindeer goes with him or her; if they have a play to perform in, the reindeer goes with him or her. Your child will write down everything he or she does with their overnight guest in the journal provided. Be aware that all 24 students in class are really excited to be hosts to our visiting friends! The reindeer, journal and stocking MUST be returned the very next day so they can enjoy a new family’s holiday traditions. If a student’s name is pulled on Friday, he or she will document their adventures for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The reindeer is expected to be returned Monday morning though! Enjoy your time with our northern guests! Thank you in advance for hosting! Miss Janicke |
